On Monday August 12, 2013 – THE BANK – Oldham County’s name changed to “Stock Yards Bank & Trust”. This means that the signs, brochures, accounts, ATM machines, etc. will all bear the name Stock Yards Bank & Trust. It also means that THE BANK – Oldham County customers will be able to do all their business at any of our 34 Stock Yards Bank & Trust locations.
All of THE BANK locations will remain open. There are no plans to close any of the locations at this time. The Prospect Branch will be renamed “North Oldham” to avoid any confusion with the current Stock Yards Prospect location.
All of THE BANK-Oldham County branch hours will remain the same at this time.
The new customer service number of 582-2571. Individual employee telephone extension numbers will change. Please inquire if there is a specific employee you are trying to reach.
Most of THE BANK – Oldham County employees that serve you now in the branches will remain in their current positions. Some Operational positions will move to the operations center in Louisville and will still be available by telephone, if necessary.
Yes! Stock Yards Bank & Trust opened its doors in 1904, right here in Kentucky. They have grown from one location to 34, but is still a community bank, which means that the business they do here in Kentucky gets reinvested into the community here!
Beginning August 12th you may transact all of your THE BANK – Oldham County business at all Stock Yards Bank & Trust locations.
Only those customers (less than 10%) that have a duplicate account number to that of a current Stock Yards Bank numnber will receive a new account number. Those customers will receive a seperate letter with details the week of July 8th. For more information about duplicate account numbers, click here.
You may continue to access your account information through THE BANK’s website through Friday, August 9th at 4:00 pm. There will an online banking blackout period for THE BANK customers from Friday, August 9th at 4:00 pm to Monday, August 12th at 6:00 am. Beginning Monday, August 12th at 6:00 am customers will log in through www.syb.com to access their online banking. Fo more information about your new online banking, please refer to your Conversion Booklet, pages 19-23.
Only those customers with duplicate account number will receive new checks. All other customers may continue to use their THE BANK checks and SYB checks will be ordered upon your next re-order.
If you currently have a THE BANK – Oldham County Debit or ATM card, you will be issued a new Stock Yards Bank Master Card Debit or ATM card. It will be mailed out in a plain white envelope the week of July 22, 2013. Immediately after receiving your card in the mail, you may call 1-800-992-3808 to activate your new card and select your PIN; there will not be a separate PIN mailer. There are no changes to the Terms and Conditions of your original loan agreement. All payment amounts, due dates, interest rates, pay-offs, and other specifics to your loan will remain exactly as detailed in your agreement.
If you have $250,000 or less in all of your deposit accounts at either THE BANK or Stock Yards Bank & Trust, you do not need to worry about your insurance coverage – your deposits are fully insured.

The interest rates for current CD rates will not change. Upon renewal, rates will be available as posted through SYB. There will be a slight adjustment in the DDA and Savings account interest rates. Please refer to your Conversion Booklet for rates as of June 19, 2013.
